Day 01 :

Marrakech → Imlil → Toubkal Refuge

Driving time: ~1.5 hours
Hiking time: 5–6 hours

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Travel south toward the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying beautiful landscapes as you reach the mountain village of Imlil (1,740 m) — the main gateway to Mount Toubkal.

Trek Route

The hike begins through:

Walnut groves
Traditional Berber hamlets
Mountain streams and rocky trails

After lunch along the trail, continue ascending steadily toward the high mountains. The landscape becomes more alpine and dramatic as you approach the refuge.

By late afternoon, arrive at the mountain refuge.

Day 02 :

Summit Mount Toubkal → Return to Marrakech

Hiking time: 8–10 hours total
Wake up very early (around 4:00–5:00 AM) for the summit attempt. After a light breakfast, begin the ascent under the stars.
Summit Climb
The climb is challenging but non-technical. The trail includes:
Steep zigzag paths
Rocky high-altitude terrain
Gradual final ridge to the summit
After approximately 3 hours of ascent, reach the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m).
At the Summit

It is a great place to shop not too far from Europe. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
