Day 01 :

Marrakech → High Atlas → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Valley

Morning pickup from your Marrakech riad/hotel. Drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass with scenic photo stops. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortified village featured in many films. Continue to Ouarzazate (the “Gateway to the Desert”) and then to the stunning Dades Valley, known for its red rock landscapes. Dinner and overnight in a hotel or riad in Dades.

Day 02 :

Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, explore the twisting roads and rock formations of Dades Gorge, then continue to Todra Gorge with towering canyon walls. Proceed east through Rissani and Erfoud (famous for fossils) to Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara. Swap your vehicle for camels and trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. Enjoy dinner and live music at your desert camp under the stars.

Day 03 :

Sahara Desert Excursion & Merzouga Activities

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, explore the desert surroundings — visit nomadic families, try sandboarding, and take in panoramic desert views. Return to Merzouga town for lunch. In the afternoon, you can optionally experience a traditional hammam (Arabic bath) and relaxing massage before dinner. Overnight at your desert camp.

Day 04 :

Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Midelt → Fes

Depart Merzouga after breakfast and drive through the fertile Ziz Valley with its extensive palm groves. Continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through scenic towns like Midelt. Arrive in Fes in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a riad or hotel in Fes.

Day 05 :

Full Day Guided Tour of Fes

Today you’ll enjoy a full-day cultural exploration of Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities. With a local guide, visit the ancient Medina, see traditional tanneries, explore artisan quarters, and learn about Moroccan history and architecture. Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant. In the late afternoon, drive to Casablanca for dinner and overnight.

Day 06 :

Casablanca Highlights → Return to Marrakech

After breakfast, visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca (one of the largest mosques in the world). Then begin your drive back to Marrakech. On arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, concluding your 6-day tour.

It is a great place to shop not too far from Europe. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
