EXCELLENT Based on 36 reviews Posted on Nathan TraxlerVerified Excellent Customer Service I wasn't able to complete a tour with Tour and Travel Morocco, but I did have a very positive experience with them. I had booked a three-day desert camping tour from Marrakech to Fes with another company, but it was cancelled the day before it departed due to snow in the mountains. The other tour operator never responded to my Viator or WhatsApp messages and never provided an explanation for the cancellation. I was informed via a Viator email of the cancellation. Trying to salvage the trip, and not knowing about the snow in the Atlas mountains that blocked the road because of the lack of communication from the other tour operator, I frantically looked for a replacement operator for a similar tour. It was past 22:00 that night when I found Tour and Travel Morocco, and this was the night of the Africa Cup of Nations final match between Morocco and Senegal. Needless to say, this was a busy night for a Moroccan tour operator. When I reached out via WhatsApp, Morad from Tour and Travel Morocco called me right away and very quickly assisted with checking for tour options. He confirmed that the public tours through Tour and Travel Morocco had been cancelled, but did some further checking throughout the night to see if he could find a private driver to complete the same tour. He did find one, and we started on our tour the next morning. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the base of the Atlas Mountains, Moroccan police had the road blocked off and were turning cars away due to the snow in the mountain pass. I notified Morad, and he affirmed that when they had checked, the roads were still open to private vehicles. He was very apologetic, and our driver dropped us off back in Marrakech at no charge. Morad refunded the entire amount we paid for the tour the same day. Even though we didn't complete a tour with Tour and Travel Morocco, I can affirm that they are an excellent company to work with and provide fast and professional customer service. I will definitely look them up next time we're in Morocco.Posted on Marcos CVerified Not as advertised but still recommend. There was no pick up from a hotel. No communication from the company. The bus that took us to Zagora was outdated and not well air conditioned. It was an extremely uncomfortable ride. The tents had electricity but no one thought to provide at least a standing electric fan for air circulation. The air in tents was so hot and stale, we had to sleep outside on a bench. The camp is next to a highway and not technically in the Sahara desert. This said, the staff who took care of the camels was extremely nice and accommodating and made up for all the inconvenience and lack of accommodations.Posted on Laser SVerified Fantastic experience, highly recommend Highly recommend! Wonderful experience and would repeat it. Thank you to all the team , you guys were đ amazing . Hope to see you soonPosted on Jennifer OVerified Can't wait to go back If you plan to a trip to Morocco, I highly recommend Said as your guide. His expertise and attention to detail made my trip truly extraordinary. Traveling to Morocco was a dream of mine, since college, and in my 40s I was finally able to to pull it off. Our guide made sure our adventure was unforgetable. He took us to stunning historic and cultural sites and several hidden gems off the beath path. Said is knowledgable and professional. He balnaced adventure with comfort, making sure the journey met my preferences. Some of my favotire experiecences where shopping in the small local markets and eating at family owned restaurants as we traveled between cities. Waking up at twilingt in the middle of the Sahara was magical!Posted on mike tVerified A week in Morocco Said was our driver/guide during our week in Morocco. He was terrific. Very considerate. We enjoyed our time with him. If we ever go back we will definitely ask for him again. Just expect to be in the car around 7-8 hours with few stops. On the way there we stopped at Ait Bin Haddou, spent an hour and a half over there, then had lunch and headed to the camp Zagora. I did camel ride so it took the group from drop off point to camp around 30-40 minutes. It was fun. I recommend to wear trainers and comfy clothes. Once we arrived at camp we had dinner after sunset( also when you arrive go straight to watch sunset!!!) around 9pm. Was traditional Moroccan food, pretty good. After we watched a little show, but everyone was exhausted. I had luxury tent (those tents separate from shared ones), i would suggest to pay more a little and get it. The night was pretty smooth, just very windy, as I figured it out during the day no wind but close to night windy, and called. But I had very warm blanket winter one in my tent. There were toilets staff also, there was no problem with it as I read before. In the morning there was sunrise but both so pretty as sunset for sure, so dont skip sunset. Around 7.15 am we had breakfast (eggs, coffee, lots of bread haha as typical moroccan breakfast), and headed back to out meeting point , where was waiting our driver. Wanna shout out to the driver LAHCEN, he was amazing, helpful. Very nice and kind, if you need to pray he will arrange it for you, just let him know, cause most of places just for men I would say for praying, and if you dont where hijab(like me) no one would know that you need it actually. Wanna say big thanks to him. So, on the way back i did movie place exploring where gladiator, prison break(season 5), ceasar etc were filmed. We got back to the hotel at 6.30 pm. So i even had time to enjoy sunset as usual at Jemma Fna panoramic view place. I would also recommend to get snacks with you, cause on the way there were just cookies, pastries, chocolates etc, no fruits at all, no yogurt etc, I wish they would have it at those stops. That was bad I think. Other than that everything was great. I enjoyed the trip, but I expected more from desert, just small patch of dune, I wouldnt do again it, but if it is on your wishlist (Sahara desert) and you are lack of time I would for sure recommend it to do. Just as i said expect to be in the car for long time. But the ride was good, not hot in the car, driver was nice about it.Posted on Cecilia EVerified 10 Tour and Travel Morocco, was wonderful, Morad esas always asking Us, how everything was going on. Massima disponibilitĂ e puntualitĂ , tutto ottimo, esperienza da fare nella vita. Tutto come da descrizione, guida molto simpatica e alla mano, capace di farti sentire coccolato e protetto.
